My favourite player of recent times. A joy to watch. I know a few didn't forgive him for the Spurs move, but forget that, he was great on the pitch.

Had he had a little bit more pace, would have been wanted by anyone in the league. Fantastic footballer, needed a bit more productivity for himself, but his link up with Baines is one that hasn't been matched by any fb/wide mid combination since.

Loved the little man, The United one is my favorite the calmness just to slide it in like that utter beautiful. Him and Baines had something that was so invaluable and it helped us big time.

Moyes problem is his tactics never evolved. Even now with West Ham he's trying to play like it is 2009 and the way teams press has changed the game completely since then. Mourinho is having the same problem.

Anyway missed most of Pienaar's career before he returned from Spurs so great to see some of the things he could do in his first spell.

Certain posters on this forum claim Moyes played hoofball 100% of the time and we were a backs to the wall, route one team. Pienaar, Osman, Arteta and even Cahill and Fellaini moved the ball about nicely at times.

As I said I only had real access to Everton matches from about 2011-2012 on and those teams, especially once Mirallas signed, played some really good football at times. I'd never in a million years want Moyes back, but I also think his spell should be remembered at least a bit positively.

Superb video that. Top player, no surprise to see Osman be involved with a lot of his goals as well.
