Titus Bramble

Best centre half to grace the Premier League
I've been having piano lessons since January and I think I'm at a stage where I'd like to learn my own pieces of music and not just what my teacher gives me to learn.

Where do you musicians get your sheet music from online? Preferably for free.

i did it for a year and a half when i was 12. passed my first exam but my teacher left the area and my new one was a bitch so gave it up.

In a similar situation to yourself titus mate, I bought piano pieces for adult beginners by the amsco music publishing co, which has a lot of playable pieces for people just starting. and also the manual of scales, broken chords and arpeggios for piano, which has plenty of exercises for practising chords and octaves and the like, found them both decent. Theres loads of tutorials on youtube, but the slow explanations can be a pain in the arse. If you catch him online Millea is the man to ask

free online music is surprisingly hard to find. Anyway, don't be a mingebag, you could probably buy the sheet music second hand off amazon for pennies

I just learn what songs I like if I can find the tutorials on YouTube. Just look for piano tutorials of whatever song you want. Can be really hit or miss though YouTube.

I'm sure there is like a piano version of Ultimate a Guitar forums where pianists help people learn songs but I don't know if they do it in an advanced way.

Best of luck mate, just make sure you're having fun doing it.

Cheers mate. I am having fun, but having played guitar and bass for nearly 10 years it is a bit frustrating not being at a similar level.
