Baffles me to be honest. I always thought the left were all about looking out for each other etc. They get the chance and they want none of it, just want to be looked after by the state instead. Does this mean the left = lazy or uncaring? Coz that's all this is. It's trying to encourage people to stop looking at the state to do it all for them. What can you do to help those in need? Seems like feck all is the answer.

It has nothing to do with what you;re on about Bruce,this idea "big society" is already here its happening now with many charities etc running services but Cameron is so dim he cant or more likely wont accept it.

This idea Letwins idea iirc is fluff and nonsense much like the "broken Britain" he banged on about,funny if the country was so broken why the hell is he intent on destroying parts of it with cuts?
