The phony states - in his sing-songy, luvable media-friendly version of a Liverpool accent:

"It is not just Liverpool which is suffering cuts, it is everyone. The recession started with shenanigans on Wall Street and we have to move on.”

He [Redmond] will be in London next week and will continue to put forward ideas to Downing Street.

I'm just glad he's a Kopite, tbh.

Redmond,Cilla Tarby etc why do they talk the way they do?

I honestly dont know anyone who talks like them tbh as for the fool Redmond its no wonder he signed up to this nonsense becuase i cant think of the last good idea he had,the mans irrelevant much like "call me daves" big society nonsense.

Baffles me to be honest. I always thought the left were all about looking out for each other etc. They get the chance and they want none of it, just want to be looked after by the state instead. Does this mean the left = lazy or uncaring? Coz that's all this is. It's trying to encourage people to stop looking at the state to do it all for them. What can you do to help those in need? Seems like feck all is the answer.

Professional scousers? I dunno, the phonetics are an artform, they dumb down the Scouse accent to present it in a more "user friendly" way, for radio/tv.
