Phil Neville pipes up

I'm probably going to say something very unpopular here, but if he was at the age he was when he first joined us he would be a better option at right back than anyone fit we have in the squad right now and he would bring some much needed on field leadership. I know that's not what this thread is about but I have been thinking about players that took a lot of crap when they were here and sadly, he would probably make the first team again now. That's how far we've regressed.

This utter bute putting himself up for the job isnt just a delusional massage of his own ego, and a pathetic demonstration of how entitled modern footballers are....more than anything, it's an insult to the club for him to think that he's got the most remote chance of even being considered for a single second. That he thinks he has the experience or credentials to deserve one moments thought is deeply disrespectful and offends me deeply.

I wish the "Class of 92" would "Class of 92" off. Arrogant bells.

Lol, The worst captain in this clubs history. A guy who's career would of ended in the lower leagues within a few years of it starting were it not for his infinitely more talented brother. A professional hanger-on is all Phil Neville ever was, combined with being quite possibly the biggest kiss arse and teachers pet that its possible to be with both managers he worked under. An untalented leach who's been mediocre (on his very best day) to laughable from player to pundit. So yeah Phil, don't call us we'll call you if we're interested.........
OK, but it’s not an outright ‘no’...?

I don't get the hatred of phil Neville. he played for us and captained us and he should get some slack imo.

but as manager ? nope , hes not one id risk giving the job. under 23 coach , maybe.
