50 caps mate, thats more than hoddle, we constantly champion honest grafters and yard dog center halves over trusting players with genuine talent, do you really think any other nation of englands standard would give a grim player of nevilles standard that many caps

Gotta have the yard dogs to allow the talents the ball to play with. Plus he was playing at left back when his only real competition was Wayne Bridge.
