PFA Players' Player of the Year

I think people know its players voting for their peers and just that maybe some people don't understand, more to the point, why they've voted for him.

Because he's a good player? They play against him you know, the players who vote.

I hate to praise rs, but he's a cracking little player. He's like a young Osman, only faster and stronger than a young Osman and with a better range of passing.

Think he'll be at Real or Barca within 2 seasons.

Of course those players who voted for him did so because hes a good player...why vote for him otherwise. I think he is too and I only posted to highlight Kristian Walsh's wildly OTT gushing article. The other people on here obviously don't think hes worth the vote compared to other players...hence their reactions. I think he will realise before long that his future is away from the RS and I agree with you entirely that one of those clubs will be courting him.

Has Sterling done anywhere near enough in the last six months to justify being in there? Can't think of a single thing he's done since Christmas..

No he hasn't.

And nor can I.

It is a one horse race anyway......Harry Kane will walk it.

Kane, Sanchez or DeGea would be good choices. There hasn't really been a standout player. I guess Hazard would be alright too but there is something about his game I don't like. Its like he goes invisible for long stretches.

One thing that always confuses me is if a player is nominated for both and wins Player of the Year, shouldn't that mean he also should win young player by default?

Excellent point.

I wonder if there has ever been a case where the winner of the main PFA award was a beaten nominee in the young player award.

I was thinking that......there seems to be a paucity of candidates this season.

Last season there were three players from Citeh alone who would have been worthy winners.......Silva, Yaya and Aquerro.

But even they were put in the ha'penny place by The Rat, even if I do hate to say it.
