He won the player of the season - which was deserved imo - been the most consistent in terms of form, practically gotten Tottenham into the Champions League (or atleast Europa league)
And its only logic that if he won POTY then he has to win young player of the season.
Can't remember what league it was - but there was a thing where 2 players were nominated for both player and young player of the year - and the awards went to one for one and the other for another. Talksport brought it up and complained that that shouldn't have happened - because at the end of the day its just who is the best young player and best player? Hence it has to go to the same person

Yep, rightly deserved in my opinion. Van Persie is fantastic, but is in a team full of equally good players, Bale on the other hand has stood out like a sore thumb on occasions and is the reason why Spurs are so high up in the table.

probably because half the list is wrong.
couldn't really decide between the two tbh, bale's carried his team, but imo van persie has done pretty similar, then again, stupidly the voting was done in march. leave it till the end of the season you blerts.
bale has done some out of this world things, shown how much of a difference he is in the last 2 games since coming back. spurs would be below us without him without a shadow of a doubt.
he's carried wales so no qualms about him winning it, i did expect van persie to get it though
