Sorry but why should it be their choice? Everyone else in society gets their pension at 67, and if they can't physically do a job any more then they are allocated something they can do. Why on earth can fire fighters/police/ambulance staff not do other work that doesn't require manual lifting?

I mean good grief, what with Gordon Brown looting pension funds during his tenure, and now quantitative easing inflating away peoples pensions to the tune of around £60bn a year, who the heck do you people think you are to get something massively better than everyone else in society?
