Crap source but could he be on his way to Everton?

Always rated Crouch and I think Fabio has been a fool not to play him more often in England colours.

Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent claims Everton target Peter Crouch is the most likely striker to be leaving Tottenham this summer.

Boss David Moyes is keen to land a new striker and a move for England man Crouch could be on the cards if he can generate enough cash for a deal.

Moyes has yet to dip into his summer transfer pot but could be now ready to splash out on the 30-year-old who is also wanted by Sunderland and Stoke.

Pavlyuchenko's agent, Oleg Artemov wants a new deal for his man and claims talks will get underway when Spurs have sold some of their fringe players, including Crouch.

"I expect to talk nearer to the transfer window's closing time," explained Artemov in the Daily Star. "At the moment he is too busy. "He needs to sell players and to buy new ones. Two or three teams are interested in Peter Crouch.

"So he is most likely to be the one of the five Spurs attackers to leave."

Also, I don't really rate him, to be honest. He's never consistently scored goals in England. It's just that his excellent records in European and international football have managed to mask that.

Not really a fan of his but right now I'll take any Premier League standard striker we can get, we can't go into the season with what we have up front.

That said, he won't go for nothing so he's out of our price range.
