Yeah, the goalkeepers have gone up a level in the new PES.
The cursor switch thing does need sorting. It feels like I'm hammering the pad sometimes to get it to switch to my preferred defender.
The game has grown on me though after spending some time with it.

What difficulty are you playing it on mate, struggling on superstar myself, the level I've always played it at, won't lower it out of stubbornness, definitely not going near the unlocked legend level just yet.
Haven't quite fallen in love with this year's version yet. The AI is a bit disappointing in that a match against some no mark team can be just as hard as against a top team, maybe a patch might rectify this.
Alternate between that and Professional depending on what I feel like - I'm not great at it myself mate to put it mildly!
I enjoy the challenge though, and more importantly I enjoy how it feels mechanically. It feels like football without being an all-out boring simulation, which is all I really want from a football game.

Might drop down to pro for bit while I get to grips with it fully.
I think I'll be starting my master league challenge mode with a club who's boards only ambition is avoiding relegation cos I'm struggling badly with Schalke.
On the plus side, I've acquired a boss option file and the custom options for multiplayer offline leagues has improved a lot.
