In terms of pubs to watch the games, the casino is pretty central and popular but there lots around the place that show them. if you let me know which suburb she is in, I can give you a good idea of which is best.
Also, if she has her mobile or internet with Optis, you will have access to every game live for free.

Quite far South for a pom, most live further up the coast.
There was a really good English pub at Scarborough beach but I think it is closed now. Hillarys boat harbour (which you should go to anyway) or Innaloo (yes, that really is the name of a suburb) are probably your best locally.
Make sure you go snorkelling at Mettams pool, we saw massive stingrays the last time we were there.

@WA Toffee we stay in a place called Coogee which slightly south of Fremantle and about half an hour from Perth. Some great beaches around there.

Yep, fantastic spot. My wife was down there this morning taking the dog for a swim.

Yeah, workmate of mine is from perth (moved over to NSW about 4 years ago) said this too. English, Irish and South Africans. And the aussies are full bogans.

My cousin lives in Coogee as he transferred over to the RAN as is now stationed at HMAS Stirling. Lovely part of the world and great for fishing.

Cool. My sister in law used to work there years ago. So many great beaches along that stretch from Coogee to Freo
