Cracked ribs are the worst I have gone through.

Happened to me playing 5 a side. I was in goal and this big grock just ran into me. I carried on playing but when I went to bed that night the pain really kicked in. I coughed and cursed in 17 different languages.

In a previous maintenance job I was holding a large spanner on nut whilst my oppo was on the trigger end of a 40lb air ratchet. The nut had a burr on it which caused the spanner to move and park itself on top of finger, the noise in the factory was so loud and my oppo was on the other side of a furnace we were stripping so he couldn’t hear my yelps of pain… I had to endure about 40 seconds of 40lb pressure just squashing my finger like a piece of wafer thin ham
