A great weekend. The Levellers gig was a sit down acoustic set of rare beauty, following a 78 min film called A Curious Life, based on the thoughts of their eccentric and endearing bass player and the development of the band from inception seen through his eyes. It had everyone in stitches.
I think one of the most endearing aspects of rock 'n' roll is watching a Levellers audience become middle aged and more respectably dressed! The fires in their belly might have been tamed now but they are still an incredible band.
