To be fair, Marouane Fellaini was hot sh*t in Belgium and that converted well to England. Lucas Biglia plays for Anderlecht and he'd walk into our midfield too.

On the flipside, Mbokani has been a total flop in France, as have a few others who have left the Belgian leagues.

To have that kind of goalscoring record in Belgiums top division (not second division) is very impressive. Ten in nine games according to Wikipedia.

For £1m, he has to be worth the gamble.

To be fair Beckford scored goals.

Its not like he played all 38 games for the full 90 minutes, he wasnt Saha anyway.

And big Denis isnt as bad as people make out, IMO.
