Famously disliked in these parts but a brilliant manager no doubt.

Tomorrow night will be Pep's 6th Champions League semi-final in 6 seasons (Alex Ferguson managed 7 in his career). He's only not won a league in one of his managerial seasons.

What's he done apart from take two of the biggest clubs in world football, with budgets to match, to games they should be getting to anyway?

He is one of those managers though isnt he? Takes ove rthe european champions and everyone lauds his achievements winning the german league with them!

I would argue on the basis that not much has changed at the club, Guidiola at munich isnt very ipressive. Guidiola at barca fair enough, he got the team playing his game and it worked.

Id love to see him at city and be found out for being an average manager or a amazing one.

agreed, not set the world alight at Bayern but his Barca team was probably the best football I've seen in my lifetime.

Hate the comparisons to Ferguson.

Look at United's squad, position, size, finance etc. when he took over compared to Barca and Bayern when Pep did.
