You're a danger to yourself and other drivers

People wonder why people drive in the middle lane? These tarts are the reason FFS!

I was going 65 recently and suddenly this car appeared out of no where going at best 45. I had to quickly slow down to avoid crashing into the back of it

If you don't want to go faster than 40, you should travel by A Roads

Rather than the police pulling over people in the middle lane I think they would be better served pulling over slow drivers in the left lane

Rant over

Sort it out, if you want to go 65 go on the A roads.

Driving below 45 MPH on a road where the speed limit is 70 MPH is dangerous. There's no other way of looking at it

If you want people to avoid driving in the middle lane then you need to first ensure that the left lane is a safe place to drive

This isn't me just having a grumble because I was midly incovenienced. This driver nearly caused an accident. I was going below the speed limit but when there's a 20 MPH difference, it's possible for a car to show up in front and you not be able to react in time

Fair shout.
I am a 95mph type and anyone who does 70 in the fast lane makes me mad too.

Its the really elderly drives who go at this speed on the motorway, they are dangerous. I spend quite a bit of my working day on motorways, they need to be checked physically and mentally when they reach 66 years of age.

Last week, i was behind an old diddy on a slip road to come onto the motorway, she was doing 20 miles an hour, FFS.

I've seen plenty of young people do it as well to be fair

Some people just don't like driving at the motorway speed

That's fine, if you don't want to drive at motorway speed, just don't go on the motorway

Some fat heffer on the A1M by Wetherby yesterday was doing 60 mph in the middle lane, i went to overtake her and noticed she was texting and not paying attention.

I waved and got her attention, then picked up my wallet and showed it ( Its just a brown normal wallet ) she crapped herself and threw her phone to the side. I laughed and drove off.

Poor observational skills there Mikey, you shouldn't be on the roads.

I'm normally a fairly quick driver on most roads, however if someone that's clearly doing stupid speed flys up behind me and sits about a foot from my bumper then I make it my mission to go as slowly as possible, only speeding up when they have decided that they are going to pull into the wrong lane to overtake me.

My van is limited to 70mph so when the guy in front is doing 67mph, it's murder to pass especially when said car decides to speed up!!

These are the ones who really kill me. They drive slowly until you decide to overtake then put their foot down.....grrrr

I was flying down the A55 once when this I looked ahead of me and his old woman was heading TOWARDS me IE, going the wrong way on a motorway. Nearly killed us both.

Happened to me this morning on the M57, the guy wasn't even old but was doing 50 in the inside lane. Staring straight ahead like his head was in a vice unable to check the angry faces and gestures from those having to swerve to the middle lane to avoid him. I wouldn't mind but I drive a Kia and shouldn't be able to overtake anyone!!!

not a problem if they're in the left hand lane, means you can overtake if they're going to slow for you

cyclists riding on the pavements, now that's the real issue here people
