Penalties and Own Goals

This WC has been utterly ridiculous, Poland scoring that late consolation in the final game of the opening round of games ruined the prospect of every game finishing without both teams scoring without one of them needing to score a penalty.

The fact that there was an own goal in that game means that no game in the opening round had both teams to score without a penalty or own goal contributing to one of the teams.

Currently the first game of the second round has consisted of a penalty and an own goal again.

Obviously, now i've created this thread, the first game tomorrow will end 1-1 with both goals from open play.

Pennos, own goals and goals against gash teams should Deffo not count.

This is still going, after all three games didn't consist of both teams scoring. Been a very low scoring World Cup so far.

All this stat needs is for a game to finish just 1-1 with both teams' goals coming from open play.

Aussies score a pen so the sequence won't be broken in this game.

As pointed out above, wasn't Argentina 1-1 Iceland were both goals were from open play??? Agueros deffo was and so was Icelands, Sigurdsson cross palmed out n fell to someone who knocked it in
