PED's In Football

With the whole Lance Armstrong situation dominating headlines (that and Te'o) several articles have been written about PED's in world football. Most are saying there likely is to a small extent but not massively like in cycling. Thoughts?

There is currently a big legal case on drug taking in Spain. Doctor Fuentes, the chap at the heart of it all, was treating hundreds of athletes from a wide range of sports, including cycling, football and tennis. The only athletes being investigated in the trial are cyclists.

So we have a situation where Spanish athletes dominate a whole host of sports AND a Spanish doctor has been proven to dope hundreds of athletes, yet only his cycling clients are being investigated.

Nothing fishy there whatsoever.

I heard about that. Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED) are a constantly in conversation when it comes to basically every sport in America. Just wonder why I rarely read anything about Soccer/football being involved.
