My PC keeps getting blue screen upon reboot, the 1st few times it was so quick i didnt see the error, but it did it this morning and i noticed it said Page_fault_in_non_paged_area.

Searching of google didnt really help, it said it could be a memory problem, but most threads i read didnt help.
Anybody had this problem or could help with a fix?

hi mare check its not a virus, had one on my pc few months ago it was putting up a blue screen and if you got passed it siad windows error message, think it was called smit fraud there are sites to help you get shut, check your screen saver in safe mode as it puts a message on there , hope it helps

from my experience a lot of blue screens are due to driver conflicts.

start in safe mode , and update your drivers for all your hardware.

if that doesnt work then you could do a system restore to a time it didnt crash.

ive had a blue screen myself recently , turned out to be the driver for my wireless adaptor.

on the blue screen there should be an error code ie ooooo1 x000039 xoooo9

if you get the blue screen again , keep a pen handy to right this number down and i should be able to tell you which driver is the problem.

Put in the recovery disk and format the hard drive. I've had that happen a few times and it's the only way to fix it in my experience. You might lose your files though but your pc will work like new

Well it just gets blue screen then it reboots, but only when i boot up. It works fine apart from that.

trial and error then fella.
i would unplug each piece of hardware until i find the culprit.
external hardrive , wireless adaptor or modem etc.

you could also try start/ run / msconfig and see which proggrammes are starting up when the pc is switched on.(i do this regulary to switch off non essential proggrammes.ie windows messenger etc

2 anti virus software on the same pc could also cause a bsod.

my money is still on a conflicting driver rather than a windows or hardware fault.
