Bad kopite.

---------------Hart

Johnson - - - Cahill - - - Caulker - - - Baines

----------Gerrard------Henderson

Sterling---------Lallana-----------Rodriguez

--------------Sturridge

In reality, this should be the England side.

---------------Hart

Johnson* - - - Cahill - - - Jags/Stones- - - Baines

--------Ox---Lallana----

Sterling----Ross------Sturridge

------------Rooney

*Even though he's shocking at the top level, there's a lack of options.

I'm not sure where Ross would be best, I like him in centre midfield so he can rampage from deep but obviously happy with him as an AM.

Hart

A good right back we don't seem to have.
Jags
Cahill
Baines

Gerrard
Ross
Ox

Lallana
Rooney
Sturridge

Is what I'd go with currently.

I don't get the fuss with Henderson either, he's a very limited player.

I'm excluding Gerrard because he is of no benefit to England's long term plans.

But you can't play Oxlade and Lallana as the holding central midfielders. We'd get absolutely bummed. I'd go

---------------Hart

Johnson - - - Cahill - - - Jagielka - - - Baines

----------Gerrard------Henderson

Sterling/Ox---------Rooney-----------Lallana

--------------Sturridge

Gerrard doesn't have the maturity in his game to be a holding midfielder, in that position its important to be able to snuff out danger. Gerrard doesn't have a clue on that.

Gerrard is the captain though. To make an England line up without Gerrard would be folly of you.

Disregard the fact that he'll get run fcking ragged in the humidity, those 70 yard hoofs won't launch themselves.

If people want to know how 'good' Henderson is they should watch a re-run of LFC's recent victory at Old Trafford. One of Moyes' tactics was to mark Gerrard and allow Henderson to get the ball. He was appalling, he got caught in possession because others were marked so he tried 50 yard passes that ended in touch.

Good luck England if Henderson is going to be start in Brazil.

This is why I think making Rooney, Cahill or Hart captain would be better for England than Gerrard, those three will be there in two and four years time. Gerrard won't be.

Though if it was up to me I'd just make Barkley captain.

I'm not arsed who you have as captain to be honest, or who plays, all I want is for the popcorny fume during the summer to get so much that someone rage quits GOT.

I'm all set to switch allegiance to my missus's Russia at the drop of a hat mate, failing that I had a nice holiday in Spain a few times and my mates married to a Portuguese girl and their wedding was boss, so got all the bases covered for supporting this world cup like ;p
