I dont consider Real to be the force they used to be, You look at the Barca team and they have some class players, Messi, Puyol, Eto, Xavi, Henry, Bojan to name just a few. Real have utter crapness like that Drenthe, he is an awful player. They have some good players in Guti, Ramos, Sneijder, but the rest of the squad i consider to be fairly average. Hunterlaar is an excellent signing tho.
