Chelsea do it last night gets hailed as great tactics, West Ham do it an it gets referred to as 19th Century football.

Just one more reason as to why I hate the world of football media!

Chelsea.....

it was like anti football last night, dreadful watching. But when you compare how RM set up against Man U, sit deep tight and narrow but hit hard and fast on the break. Parking the bus in defence is one thing but to have no attacking intentions at all was dire

When things don't go his way he moans; what did he really expect West Ham to do. Hes a crying whopper, and that game was unbelievable, he sets his team out to ruin a Semi Final of CL game

How has h ruined it ? In reality all he ruined was your enjoyment of the game.... I don't think that will bother him if his team run out in the final of h champions league this season mate.

Quite simple, it was anti football, i understand all the logic behind it; but when you are playing 6 at the back and then 3 holding midfielders you're not exactly going to pla football.

And it was in relation to a couple of weeks ago slating West Ham for doing the same.

Why can't West Ham do it, but he can??

I understand what you're saying mate, he set up not to lose and it worked...... As Azz has already pointed out above, his criticism of west ham was purely to deflect scrutiny on hs own team. If atletico had scored last night I guarantee they would turn up at Chelsea next week and set up not too dissimilar to Chelsea last night. It's cleverly managing a game.... Nt to everybody's taste but it's effective ...... And if the ends justify It .... Then who are we to argue ?

I'm not denying that it wasn't right, its a tacitcs game and they were his tactics and they worked, the same way when they won the CL. The anti-football bit related to getting his team to stop-start the match at every possibility; the first 20 mins, the ball was in play for about 7.

He's a great tactician, he can kill a game with ease (United and City away prove that) but he's still a moaning whopper
