When I drive usually park in the industrial estate opposite the Taxi Club on Cherry Lane. If you can get there between 12-1 you get parked near the front and providing you make a sharp exit out of the ground if you turn right out of the car park and follow Cherry Lane on it brings you out a bit further and easier to get on to Queen Drive. Cost is £10 though.

Park at Maghull or Maghull North station and get train to Kirkdale. Doesn't take me any longer than getting away by car after the game.

Can anyone suggest a decent parking spot don’t normally drive to game but need away sharp after game to get back home to Aberdeen. Last time I did drive I used Stanley park but took ages to get out.

Park in the old Walton Motors site right next to the ground mate. Get their handy (about 2 hrs before KO) and tell them you need to be away early due to the long trip, and they’ll put you near the exit gate. Get out quickly at the final whistle and you’ll be on the road within minutes. It’s £15 like, but worth it imo.
