Usually either train or bus it through from leeds for the game but driving for the first time tomorrow. Any recommendations for the best (safest) place to park near the ground?

The car parks near the ground - Stanley Park particularily, are fine. Expect to pay a few quid for the privilage and a decent wait to get out too.

Always park on Orwell Road. Way easier to get away after the match than if you go in one of the car parks. And it's free. Ten minute walk from the ground.

There is a small road behind The Black Horse on County Rd, first turn off the A59 as you leave Queens Drive north of the ground and going south, with a decent sized car park, usual £7 sort of thing.

Safest? What you trying to imply. It's safe anywhere.

Not going to say where I park in case somebody takes my spec. But don't bother with a car park, they charge you about £7 when you can park for free on the road. Don't pay the scally kids either.

'5 pound to watch your car mate, or we smash it up...'

I park in a school about ten minutes walk away. No traffic when leaving...
