@Walken
The way i see it footballers are immature and reckless. they can do things in the heat of the moment and for a lot of them they have to grow up far too quickly if they are first team footballers whilst at the same time wanting to live the life of riley with their new found wealth.
Point i am trying to make is that footballers will do stupid things and they incur punishments because of it. They know what is acceptable so they can expect to be made an example of if they do anything stupid. Managers are meant to be the father of the team, the leader, the authority. What sort of message does it give the players when the manager is doing these stupid things? How can Pardew for example tell his team not to go and hit someone when he is guilty of the same offence?
I completely understand the general 'i am wrong' arguments, i just think that the F.A should have laid down the law with Pardew as it sets a dangerous benchmark for future conduct of managers.
