Pardew's ban

So the thick so and so has gone and got a 7 match ban of which the first 3 are a stadium ban followed by 4 touchline bans.
If I am correct the third game is against us.
Bet he wishes it was on the TV now! Although I am sure that Newcastle will have something in place to allow him to watch the game and report back to his number 2.
It's a pity that the league don't make him sit out the game at a police station so that he has no contact with the club during the game at all
But then again I suppose that if it where on TV he would be able to listen to the pundits on how to beat Everton
We really need a win their to keep up our push for a European spot, not to mention the chance to rub his smug face in it again!

He showed good form on that pseudo-headbutt though. Maybe he should join the firm?

Personally i think it should have been a lot worse. Billy Davies got a 5 match touchline ban for something far less serious last week so this should have been a precident set on the issue.

Look at it this way, a manager attacked a player. Granted it wasn't some broken nose deal but then it was because it was alan pardew and not someone who could do damage. But anyway, what happens next time a manager tries to assault a player, the punishment has been set already so there is a small chance of it occurring again if said manager needed to leave his job for a few weeks so to speak.

Purely speculating there but De Canio got 10 games for pushing the ref, manager on player is a much more scarier situation

Head-butt in the 2nd degree should =
4 match ban with 2 suspended pending good behaviour and completion of 2 week head-butting course

Should have had a mandatory anger management course included. He has lots of previous history of not being able to control himself and clearly has taken no effective steps himself to improve it.

Context. It's like saying the Suarez bite wasn't bad cos he didn't infect him with something.

To me, they are similar assaults and deserve massive bans.
