I reckon we should go for Chamakh on loan with an option to buy. He must be better any of our strikers. Heard Luuk de jong has agreed to terms but we need the funds...

He's really not that good. I think Chamakh will return to France as he has lost all confidence. As far as Pappis goes, he's a better version of Demba Ba. Rated as the nr 1 striker in Senegal

If an Arsenal fan's saying Chamakh's 'not that good' then he'd be fantastic for us.

He would be good with baines feeding him, but he's not Sahas class as a footballer. he's very limited. Cant run with the ball, cant dribble or shoot

Problem is we very rarely see Saha's class. I'd say he's even one of the best in the league on his day but he only has about one of those days a season.

I'd rather have a consistently average Chamakh than a consistently poor Saha with a couple of fantastic games a season.

Saha showed his class last season for only a brief period. One in which he wasn't playing alongside Cahill and actually got a bit of support and service, by having Beckford alongside him or by having the in-form Osman behind him.

I do not blame Saha one bit for his form this season, and if Chamakh was played up top with Cahill behind him in our current system he'd not score either.

Or Robin Van Persie for that matter.

I've got to say though Saha plays well most of the time he has another forward up with him. He needs link up play to thrive.

Fu**ing Pele would be sh*t in our system.

Saha is not suited to be being played alongside Cahill.

If u want to see two players ruined.. Play them 2 up top!

Saha is not a lone striker really but he can do a job as a loan striker in prob 70% of our games with the right players round him. Ie a creative midfield! Not Cahill.

I think against the really top teams he struggles as a lone striker as he's not a hard worker and clearly doesn't enjoy the fighting for the odd ball. Against the poorer teams he can do the loan striker job fine as long as he is not paired with Cahill!
