Papiss Cissé?

Not new to GOT, but unfortunately i've totally forgotten all my login details.

Anyway, Cissés a great striker who was prolific in the Bundesliga last year. Powerful, strong and more importantly, a great goal scorer. Plays for Freiburg, who are currently bottom of the Bundesliga, but he's got 9 goals in 15 games this season. I know we're skint, but out of a lot of the names being suggested, I think Cissé could be a realistic option. He's 26, pretty much in the prime, and shouldnt cost more than £5-7 million (Freiburg are struggling and they only bought him for around £1.5 mil in 2009). Don't know if we've been linked before, but I think he's the striker we are looking for, that we can afford at least.

We haven't got £5m mate. I wish I was joking but our transfer pot is around £2.5m.

We're going to have to face the fact the best we can hope for is Maynard.

Yeh I understand. Tbh, he could cost less, but know we've got no cash at all. I wouldn't mind Maynard tbf to the lad, he's been playing well recently.

But this guy looks just a step-up, similar to Ba, who we should have signed in the summer, but, again - no money :/

Good shout there mate, could be an interesting option. Certainly looks very capable for Freiburg. He desperately wants out at Freiburg I understood from watching Die Sportschau last week.

I reckon we should go for Chamakh on loan with an option to buy. He must be better any of our strikers. Heard Luuk de jong has agreed to terms but we need the funds...

I'm fairly sure we do have £5m to spend.

Anyway, its a creative midfielder we need more than a striker. Someone who can actually play a through ball preferably. Vellios has shown decent movement but nobody is there to pass to him, creative mid playing ahead of Rodwell and Fellaini is the purchase most needed.
