Well folks, it’s November so it’ll soon be time for the great and (not so) good to dress up in funny clothes and swap gender roles in the name of festive fun. Put out your warnings …. Sorry…. Please let us all know which household favourites will be appearing in a den of iniquity.. sorry, theatre, near you.

Ps

Is Biggins dead or still alive ?? Honestly unsure

I saw my first and last panto at the age of around 6. The whatever it was, was clearly behind the man in the dress but he wouldn't listen to the hundreds of other people yelling this truth at him repeatedly. I didn't join in - I figured if he wasn't going to listen to the advice of hundreds then adding my voice would make no difference. Didn't laugh, didn't see the point.

I’m guessing the whatever it was behind the man in the dress was a Tory. It’s always those you’d least expect.

I've spent time since wondering if the man in the dress was a tory. They are iniquely incapable of listening to people's advice or opinion.

I went to the see Jack and the Beanstalk at St Helen’s Royal Theatre yesterday, with my youngest lad.

As well as the regular Christmas panto, they do one every half term.

We’re going to see the WIzard of Oz at the Empire and Snow White at the Lancaster Grand in December.

My lad has additional needs and to him pantos are the best thing in the world. You’ll never see a kid as happy as him, when he’s at the panto.

We’ve been to that many, that I’ve become a panto snob lol

The one’s at St Helen’s Royal are my favourites though, as they’re off to the scale funny and rude, with the stuff that goes over the kids heads. Plus with it being small, they really get all the kids involved.

I love them just as much as him lol

All great info guys …. But we need to know which dangerous individuals… sorry.. I mean flamboyant showbiz personalities are appearing in these pantos … we need to keep our kids safe….. safely informed I mean… so they can see their heroes in action.
