Palace, Newcastle and Burnley games coming up.

Think these three games are going to be the biggest coming up in a long while. Don’t hold much hope beating Arsenal, Leicester and Chelsea hopefully a draw out of any of them and I’ll be happy. But we need 3 wins out of the Palace, Newcastle and Burnley games. If we don’t we are getting dragged into that bottom 3, and when you are in there around Christmas the stats normally say it’s hard to get out. We can’t afford anything less than 3 wins in the next 6 games coming up. Anything less than 3 wins is a failure IMO.

From the 27th we play eight league games that will decidedour season. During that run we play the bottom three four times, as well as Soton, Leeds, Villa and Brighton. Only Brighton are in the top half of the table right now.

If we go on a form run in those eight games like the one we're presently enjoying, it's all over, goodnight, pack your bags for the championship. Alternately, five wins and a draw and Premiership safety is virtually assured. It's these games that Benitez has one eye on over the horizon. But will he last that long to be in charge of them?
