Palace in £80 million investment deal

£80m for a minor share in Palace yet some people will still claim Kenwright and co are being greedy if they want £200m for ownership of Everton...

The article does not state that the new investor is putting £80 million in. It states that the ground redevelopment would cost £80 million and they want to invest £30 million into an academy.

Existing investors would contribute alongside the new investor but the amounts are not stated.

Oh yeah!

To be honest I'm struggling to think of any American owners/investors who have seen success at a club. Most invest with a view to taking a lot of money out of the club.
That was my point a while ago. Only man city can you look at with any sort of success, no other team has really progressed to the point where the whole thing is a success. Hell even chelsea for the cups they have won have zero youth investment and no real portfolio in the game

Carpetbaggers the lot of them.

The success we've had has been in spite of the rug wearer not because of him. Yet the twerp still helps himself to a consultancy fee. The word for American owners is hidden in the word consultancy..
