Alan Whittle

Player Valuation: £70m
It will be 45 years to the day, (5 Oct 1968, 1-1 v Sheff Utd.) that I first saw a Palace game this Saturday and I will be "celebrating" with a trip to the jarg (I believe is the appropriate scouse term) corner of Stanley Park.
Anyone have any messages for the deluded red blerts that they would like me to pass on?

Hope you get some points off them, but it will probably be a hard task, and considering at times how Holloway wants you to play (with no end product imo) - might prove to be an even harder task.

Still though, best of luck! Always liked Palace (my dad's "second" team after Everton as well), so hope I am proven wrong and you win 73-0.

come on palace.

LOL! Great night..."Ten, Nine, We're Gonna win Ten, Nine!"

Would prefer a repeat of 1991, come from behind to win 2-1.
Good luck to you mate... Hope you get something from the Pit.

As an aside, what's the lowdown on ths Jednik(sp) lad you've got. I've only seen him in highlights but he looks like he could be a decent player....am I right in saying that or am I just making it up to suit myself ha ha

Mile Jedinak (an Aussie) is Palace skipper and usually plays as a defensive midfielder. Strong, good in the tackle and over the last 12 months his distribution has improved immensely. Can play at Central Back but it is best to keep him where his lack of pace won't get exposed too much. Loved by the Palace fans and last I heard, stalling on signing a new contract.

He's looked decent what I've seen of him..... Dare I say very much in the Fellaini type mould of player.

if you stop them scoring in first half you will have a chance as their midfields legs go in the second half, sland had load of possesion against them..just a terrible striker, but i dunno if your players are any better!
