I've heard similar things from people who know him or people around him. However, the whole image is cringeworthy and he comes across as an idiot.

It’s showmanship though isn’t it ? It’ll pay the bills like fighters calling out opponents and press conference shenanigans. All in the game .

No, I get that part of the showmanship hence the reference to the image. But, the issue is that the image is crass: he comes across as a tit rather than hard.

I dont understand how punters continue to find [Poor language removed] talking entertaining. It’s so dull and played out in MMA/boxing, it never feels genuine either, always comes across as someone trying to build up publicity and make a name for themselves, yet the masses seem to lap it up and you end up with people being like “he knows how to play the game”… as if being gobby is some amazing talent lol.

I don’t really disagree though I think he’s just selling what he thinks they want and given the amount of clips that do the rounds maybe he’s right .

Personally I’m not really interested in it and I’m certainly not saying it’s an ability but ‘the masses’ lap it Up and if i thought it’d be the difference in earning a few more quid i wouldn’t hesitate.
