Overrated Films

Maybe not the best Bond film, but it was good.

Makes it a good shout in the Over rated category then.

I agree it was a good film, really good in fact but I'm not even sure I'd say its the best Daniel Craig Bond film. I love Casino Royal, one of those films which gets better on 2nd & 3rd viewing. Skyfall took itself a bit too serious for me, the tube crashing through the tunnel for example was just plain daft and would sit nicely in a film like Die Hard part 67 or something.

The beginning of Skyfall annoyed the hell out of me, the agent has enough time to shoot the bad guy and doesn't, I know you'd loose the story, but make it so she didn't have time to make the second shot.

A Clockwork Orange as has been said.
The Exorcist I thought was garbage.
Inception I thought was a bit crap, although I've only seen it once. Often you watch a film expecting something from it based upon the general reviews of it. First time I watch Independence Day I thought it was a bag of crap, watched it again about 3 years later and it was alright....still I'd say it was over rated.

Agree with most of this, when Craig first took over the role, it looked like they were really trying to move Bond forward and compete with the Bourne films, Skyfall slipped back into the old ways, cartoon villains, crappy banter and ludicrous action scenes, was dissapointed.

I'd add Life of Pi, as with most films made for 3D, the maker seems to forget that storytelling is still an important element
