Might get 3 or 4 in the squad but doubt Unsworth will play too many from the start.

He's only going to manage one game probably and I imagine he will want to give the first teamers a chance to end the season with some hope. Also won't want to piss players off by just coming in and dropping loads of players for his U21 boys.

I reckon we'll only get Pennington starting and then Davies and Dowell on the bench.

Also keep in mind that this could be Osman, Pienaar and Hibbert's final game for Everton so expect all of them to play a part.

.....I don't get the clamour to load the team with youngsters. Like everybody else, I love to see a young player come through the ranks but it's a massive step up and they have to be ready. Pennington was criticised by many on here after the Leicester game for simply not being good enough and fans will soon complain if we get a beating.

Walsh has really impressed at Yeovil and the signs are good that he and Dowell are real prospects. The likes of Anthony Evans initially struggled with the step up to U21 this season and it might do more harm than good to throw him into the first team at this stage.

We need to manage expectation and welcome them when they get an opportunity.

Of the youngsters I think one of Pennington or Connolly will start at RB simply because Oviedo and Besic have visibly struggled there (with good reason), the rest of the subs/changes will be about the old boys having their send-offs.

I'm hopeful we'll see more than 10 mins of Dowell though.

I would expect, howard, gibson, osman and pienaar will play due to potentially the last game for all of them, Hibbert would have played if fit to say taraaaa.

Would like to see a could of young guns in the team/squad though. give them a bit of experience, atmosphere will be nowhere near as flat now.

While i completely agree with the outgoing players.

We done it with Distin so i can see it happening with the rest of them. Shame about Ledson and Walsh, after good loan spells would have been nice to see them involved, bit of a well done for your loan spells have 30 mins on the pitch.
