That's two 60+ year old has beens who have only achieved great things with stupidly large transfer budgets.

Each time you hire one of those they want to tear the side apart and bring in their own players immediately, they are practically nearly dead

I absolutely worship the fella, he got me through some dark times as a kid and he would die for the club.

The reality is clear though, he’s not a top flight manager and has done nothing to deserve it. We saw in the majority of his games that whilst he can motivate the players his tactics were poor.

Lampard showed you can have passion and control a game.

Hopefully one day he’ll be manager here, and if so, it’s because he’s earned his right.

All he tried to do is motivate the players, w/ I guess mimimal success (its not the easiest group to moviate). Which IMO was the right call, you aren't gonna make wholesale changes when you are prob only gonna be a manager for a few weeks.

Lampard was shell shocked w/ how bad we were for a good month and settled in. Duncan might have done the same but its better to cut your teeth in the championship, its a good move as long as the ownership isn't the clown show it was a few years ago.
