Our fans, Once the best, now Shocking

Progressively over the last four to five years, Everton fans or should I say supporters, have gone from possibly the best fans to amongst the worst. Goodison was once a cauldron of noise, now the atmosphere is dreadful. A scapegoat or three is required player wise every season for many. Many also complain less or never about Bill Kenwright and co when results on the field are going well, but are so quick to point out the wrongs they do when results and form are negative. Now, I am not a huge fan of the board at Everton, but do we need to see planes carrying banners over stating a dislike? Yes, this will most likely open a can of worms, which is not my intention, but as a lifelong genuine supporter of the club, I vow to stick by Everton through thick or thin, not to boo the players because that does nothing to help them, and to just keep the faith that one day, the glorious times will return. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

We have some of the best young talent in Europe. What these lads need to devistate the premier league is support. I want Goodison to be a fortress again. I want the sheer noise the fans make to scare the sh*te out of visiting teams. We need more people out there to stop bitching and get right behind our team. At least we are in the premier league and not relegated.

Can't believe how Portsmouth ended up in League 2, they even had a bell ringing bell and everything.

We can protest Kenwright and everything but I just want Goodison to be booming again. If the fans make enough noise to collapse it Everton will need a new stadium anyways. Let's make that our goal.

It is just my opinion as a lifelong blue. It is a controversial point, but I just want us all as fans to start getting behind the team. Yes, we have been treated like crap, but we need not to treat the players and manager like the board treats its fans.

I think it is shocking that over 4000 of our shocking supporters are travelling to Barnsley tomorrow night.
