This season, we have conceded 34 games so far, this is join highest with 1999/00, 2000/01 and 2009/10 at this stage of the season. What needs to be done?

Imo, I think we should drop Stones and Tim Howard because their mistakes have cost us dearly this season.

You're probably entirely right there. But (and this is a major factor in how hugely frustrating it is to be a Blue at the minute) it's a pointless question to ask and answer - nothing will change. Especially in goal.

We can't stop playing Stones, we need to offload him for mega bucks to Chelski, but I agree that it's time for Howard to head home and play some MLS. All in all is it not down to the manager and having no plan B? Or do we keep the manager and hope to avoid a Wigan outcome?

Our tactics are the reason we concede so easily.
If you put flappy in goal you are asking for trouble but if you are a manager with bollox you can drop him

Get the wrong manager in though and it all goes tits up.

I'd argue that dropping Howard would be cheaper, easier and more effective in the short and long term.

The manager has to do it though, and it is clear he won't. If we can't get him to do the most obvious, cheapest, easiest, effective thing to be done to help improve our defence, what hope have we got of him addressing everything else?
