Our away support.

Just a query amongst fellow blues on why elements of our away support has started to sit down at aways. It's strictly small time and conservative to sit down and get comfy on our travels.All fans of the big city clubs with passionate followers stand at aways even those with poor sides I:e Leeds, Newcastle and RS.
We are a club from a working class city with a northern soul so let's not behave like Fulham, Norwich, Reading etc with a soulless passionless support.

Our away support is fantastic. They spend their time, money, heart and soul on Everton week in week out, making plenty of noise. Don't care if they do it on their arse or on their feet they have my respect.

Might be that it's very expensive for an adult to do aways. They've probably got a decent job and are older so need to sit down these days otherwise their back will hurt for days. They'll sleep terribly, irritate the unsatisfied wife, causing even more stress, weight gain and balding. All because you want them to stand next to the seat they paid for and travelled for 6hrs to get to.

I go to pretty much 99% of our games and the majority of the time everyone's standing, not like it changes much anyway.
