The problem we have with inconsistency is highlighted when you look at our away form. We've had that great series of home wins against Man City, Chelsea, Sporting and Man Utd, but during that time we were lucky to win away at Wigan and we were miserably under par at Anfield and in Lisbon. There's only been one occasion this season when we've really raised our game away from home, and that was at Arsenal. Apart from that there've been a few ok performances and a few poor ones. We've ground out some results like we did at Wigan without really being convincing.

You have to ask what's wrong with our mindset and our tactics that's stopping us from reproducing the best of our home form when we go on our travels. I understand why people want to lay the blame on Moyes for this, but I'd still back him to find some of the answers and to start putting things right.

cast your mind back about 5 weeks and the opposite was being said, saying that we were negative for playing 1 up front at home and 2 on our travels.

This is the rollercoaster that is Everton, the highs are followed by the lows, fortunately our lows don't go anywhere near as low as other teams.

It's all about being able to cope outside of the comfort zone.

Footballers are the biggest pansies in sport where this is concerned.

A pitch is a pitch, a ball is a ball, and the object of putting it in the net is the same. I never could understand this thing about home and away.

Untill we become professionals in the head, as well as the feet, we can forget about being champions for a while.
