With a club like ours and very little funds for transfers, you'd think we'd be looking at making our academy our transfer market.

This season Moyes has made a mockery of it. Look at the first team appearances of players under the age of 21? I think there's less than 10 between them.

Youth brings freshness to the squad and I haven't seen that this season. We've had a buch of travelled players all season slogging along. You need that youth and rawness mixed in. Our academy players just don't seem to be breaking through....what's the problem? Are our scouts that crap? Are the couches not bringing them on or are ordinary journey men stopping the youth coming through?

Mcmanaman took his goal lovely today. We need some youth in our side and not just Barkley. We need born and bread Evertonians in there. Why are these homegrown local lads getting overlooked?

Most of all Moyes has failed the youth this season and he's proved he was wrong again.

Speaking of which, didn't know he was an Everton youth player. Something else to moan about suppose.
 
Who from our youth set up has Moyes over looked in the last 11 years and has gone on to play for another premier league club

But that's my point are players that crap these days that they can't break through our academy and become solid premiership footballers? We release all kinds, who probably would never have been good enough. That's down to scouts.

Carragher

Name everton youths that have ever gone on to be as good as those. Either crap scouts or crap coaches

Probably one:Rooney.
