our 59 million payment from EPL

When I saw us play away at West Brom this season, it became clear why we are on telly so rarely. Dreadful attempt at playing football. If we get a rep for being worth watching (like we were towards the end of the season) then people will want to watch us. It's not rocket surgery! ;)

Think it's got more to do with when we play the big teams tbh. Most teams had the minimum 10 appearances, then you've got your top 6 all between 19-25. Strangely QPR were shown live 14 times, tho I guess that is due to all the London derbies. Arsenal and Chelsea had suprisingly few (19,20) compared to Spurs (23 i think it was??).

Nice one mate, apparently we got 1 mill out of the FA cup run which takes us to 50.

Not too shabby. If only we could have gotten on the Tele a bit more it would have made a serious difference in financials.

Transfers out mate.

The Moyes that laid the golden eggs. If he can bring players in for reasonable fees and let others go for massively inflated prices then we could be out of the crapper before due time. I dont like the continual transitional phase we are in but if it means moving out of debt and then having some real wonga to throw about, then so be it. Will he be prepared to stick it out basically working to lift the club whilst seeing his dreams of glory skittled for the sake of the bottom line.

The minimum can't be 10 - firstly we were shown 8 times this season & secondly to achieve that there would need to be at least 175 live games per season to ensure that every team was on 10 times (since it wouldn't be 20 x 10 exactly). Certainly Wolves weren't shown 10 times - maybe 5. There were 138 live games per season (an average of 3.5 per set of games) - or an average of 13.8 per team (clearly we know this is skewed with the more "popular" sides getting around 20-25 games live. Next season it will rise to 154.

Not quite getting this. Where does 175 come from?

It takes 10 games to show each Premiership team once. Therefore, it would take 100 games to show each team 10 times.

I remember reading something about her books and it was something like take the 50ish mill from Sky etc and we still end up at a 8k loss. The good news however is that we make money on the catering at Goodison so nomatter what the players will NOT go hungry.

I heard a rumour that we have 15-20m to spend this summer.

The same fella told me jimmy saville was starting a drum'n'bass night in Django's riff, so I'm not sure how true it is.
