Think we might see the British contingent cut after this round. Rangers will find it tough against Bremen (id like to see them get through though, a potential Battle of britain tie against them would be sound) and Bolton are really up against it playing Sporting.

Got a feeling Spurs might find it tough as well against PSV. Lot of decent sides left in this years UEFA Cup

I fancy Spurs to see off PSV over the two legs, Bolton will go out, they've gone as far as they can and are on the crest of a slump, i want Rangers in the next round ( fingers crossed )

Rangers were brilliant tonight from what i seen channel hopping, although Mculloch had a tap in at the end, and the centre back got back with a world class challenge.

spurs

robinson made a world class save one minute, but from off side and 18 yards out a psv player put a header in off the bar.

Thought Werder would beat Rangers but having seen highlights, Rangers were comfortably the better side.

Wonder what odds you would have got on them being the only British side to get through to the quarters before last night?:o

Its a funny old game!

I wouldn't count Bolton out. They aren't the type of team you want to face midweek. I'd fire the manager for trying to get thown out of the UEFA cup. Who gives a [Poor language removed] about finishing 17th? W/O Sam they are going down this year or next anyway. They may not make Europe again for another 25 years.

Spurs have their work cut out for them. PSV is a tough team to break down.
