i know deep down that none of the british teams are good enough to win anything in Europe barring a miracle (yes they do happen from time to time)

maybe united might go all out to win the Europa to gain the champs league spot, but im quite sure mourinho would rather push into the prem top 4, pushing someone (liverpool) out and into the europa themselves.

I always want the English sides to do well apart from Liverpool, one reason is its something to watch midweak, once they are out the Champions League games are just boring to me. Also it really annoying Kopites seeing them sides do well, which can only be a good thing.
Besides it does have a good knock on effect in terms of the coefficient stuff.

It does make me a bit sad that our league seems to lag so far behind these days. I remember watching the likes of Ipswich, Villa, Spurs, Forest and of course Everton conquering Europe. Now we are second rate.

As above, never want Woolwich, CFC or the RS to win a single game of any sort.

Don't mind others doing well as long as they don't actually win the particular trophy.

I think we all want to see Spurs doing well in the Europa league. But only if Harry Redknapp keeps his big mouth shut on how you're going to be the best team in Europe in a few years.
