Very good player but not what we need with Fellaini and Rodwell in the middle for us.

I'd rather have Rosales but he just signed a new deal with the Sounders.

He's getting old, him. I agree with what you say, but if we're forced to sell off one of them, he might make a nice pickup.

I have no illusions that Alonso will be in Seattle/MLS for the long term, but I hope he sticks around for a couple more seasons, we've had enough bad news this off-season so far (except for Rosales getting resigned, easily our best player). If he eventually goes to Everton though that would definitely be best. (y)

Definitely this. Sounders might be in some trouble defensively. From all accounts, that new fullback we signed is a poor man's Tyson Wahl and, for me, Tyson Wahl really wasn't much for us defensively.

Everton recently bought Zakuani on my FIFA12 season. I'll have to see if the bought Alonso as well.

I've done a few FIFA manager seasons with other clubs, and Everton always finishes in a champions league place and is in a cup final. The most recent of which was against Liverpool in the League cup final and I (like a good Evertonian) quit and restarted from the previous week ten times just so the simulator would let Everton win...
