Apocolypto is an insanely brilliant and ambitious film, haven't seen hacksaw yet.
As an aside I have seen lion, liked the first half, brilliantly filming India from a bewildered kids perspective, didn't like the second half as I thought he grew up to be a bellend, and was just a Google earth advert
