A pair of Orca's have killed a 4th Great White Shark (this one, 4.1 meters long) and ate its liver and stomach and left the rest. Along with other cases, the sharks have now vacated the area and conceded it to the Killer Whales

Don't mess with Killer Whales!!

So apparently, the Orca's flip the sharks onto their backs, which for some reason stuns them, then the shark drowns. The it is lunch time!!

Tonic immobility it's called. Watched a programme on YouTube about the very same thing. The entire population of great whites cleared off before the orcas even arrived. One shark hung around a boat and was swiftly dispatched by an orca and her calf. The whole thing caught on camera by the folks on the boat. Amazing creatures.

No, but one time during a swim call off the coast of Maui, we had a pod of humpbacks come up and swim with us. That was surreal.

The whale watcher boat tour that was tracking the pod were visibly peeved, as they had to recognize the 500 yard 'Naval Protection Zone' around our sub that was enforced and stay away while we got to touch those magnificent creatures as they swam past us.

And it was a bit scary.....the whales were huge!
