Wow. That looks amazing. Shades of the 7th at Pebble Beach

Played Hoylake many times, never thought they’d build a new hole in that location. Basically they’ve taken the par 3 15th for the open and reversed it in the opposite direction. The background of the Dee estuary makes it a stunning hole and now with the new routing (it will play the 17th for the open) it will make a great penultimate hole.

Great to see Tyrrell Hatton hold on in the Arnold Palmer invitational - first PGA victory for him and another who could do well in the majors to come.

Hopefully his form doesn't tail off in the way poor Danny Willett's did after his Masters triumph in 2016.

(I've heard Paul Azinger really rates him now lol )
