Well. I still see chins hung low and deflated chests round here.

Lift your heads folks, Fill your chests with pride.

We drew with Man Utd after being 1-0 down.

we scraped a win against Bolton

we beat one of our bogey teams and kept a second clean sheet.

Myself I am as happy as a dog with 2 dicks. Only the best teams can win when they play [Poor language removed]. Only the best teams can make [Poor language removed] all out of nothing.

We must be a dam good team then.

Confidence building results.

No player will be leaving (despite unfounded rumours) an Everton team that is under a resurgence.

This is fundamentally a feelgood thread so only positive posts allowed.

I think optimists are allowed to have an unsullied area to gloat in with having bonfires pissed on.

I am looking forward to giving someone a kicking when we play well, as we are now winning with clean sheets when not playing well.

Winning is a disease that spreads fast when it is not hampered. We will not be hampered. No more hampers are allowed in Goodison ever again after Peter Johnson was binned by Saint Kenwright(that should chuck cats into pigeons).

For it's a Grand Old Team to play for.......

I'm not that confident at the moment to be honest. I think we are getting better but we still look vulnerable, our ball retention is piss poor and we don't look a force going forward.

There's no balance there, a proper team with decent footballers will roll us over. I think it will improve but the balance needs to be sorted out, Moyes needs to find a way of playing and stick to it.

He has to choose bettween Cahill or Saha, Osman or Fellaini, Castillo or Rodwell and Baines or Lescott.

There's nothing to get excited about at the moment. It'll be interesting to see how we do against West Ham away from home.

Thanks for the positive post in the positive thread.

Well we might win one or two of them (y)

I'm positive Pienar played his worst game ever on Sat so can only get better and will play his best match ever soon.

See how fast we were improving. hahahahaha

one minute we were not going to win anything this season. Now we are going to win one or two. In about 12 hours we will be good enough to win the world cup at this rate of improvement.
:P:P:P:P:P:P

There is nothing in the performances to suggest we can compete this year.

Unless we get a defensive midfielder in and revert back to our 4-5-1 consistently with a midfield of:

D/M

Arteta Osman Pienaar

Cahill

We'll be superb again, i have no doubts about it.
